Martha Ferguson is an Art Jeweler and Metalsmith living in Houston, Texas. She earned her BFA as the first graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design's Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design Program in Savannah, GA. Martha earned her MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from Miami University in Oxford, OH and since has maintained an active role in her field as an accomplished artist and educator. Her work has been shown both locally and nationally in juried shows and invitational exhibitions. Martha’s piece titled “Octagonal Box” was published in the book "The Metalsmith’s Book of Boxes & Lockets" by author and educator Tim McCreight.
Martha has nearly 30 years of experience creating handcrafted jewelry and metal art. She specializes in one-of-a-kind jewelry, limited edition jewelry series, containers, and commissions for clients seeking custom work.
