Martha Ferguson is a Jewelry Designer and Metalsmith living in Houston, Texas. She earned her BFA as the first graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design's Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design Program in Savannah, GA, and earned her MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from Miami University in Oxford, OH. For nearly 30 years Martha has maintained an active role in her field as an accomplished artist and her work has been shown both locally and nationally in juried shows and invitational exhibitions. Martha is an educator with over 10 years experience teaching in her field. She has taught at the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, Oregon, and both Lonestar College and Houston Community College in Houston, TX. Her designs reflect a dedication to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and artistic vision. Martha specializes in one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, limited edition series and specialty commissions.
